The compact and simple form of this secretary evokes associations with an old school desk, a painting easel, or an over-sized slide rule. Rightly so: THE SECRETARY makes it possible to compactly and aesthetically carry out various everyday tasks especially on the computer and outside the office – without occupying the dining table or kitchen.
The solid wood frame is a stable support for the work surface. Attached behind it there are shelves that can be opened if needed, but otherwise remain closed. The work surface can thus be expanded by a third. These are proportions that enable working on and beside the computer and leave space for two people to sit at the secretary. A leather bag is hung in the frame, in which utensils can be conveniently stored.
